The Story of ROSA

ROSA did not begin as a perfectly planned company. It came to life through a longer journey of ideas, relationships, timing, and shared belief.

One early thread goes back to 2022, when Shahryar, then working at Salesforce in San Francisco, helped introduce ROB, a bot designed to support the Site Reliability team by handling production incidents instantly. That experience proved something important early: AI could do more than advise. It could take meaningful action, reduce human burden, and respond faster in serious operational moments.

But ROSA itself was not born there. ROSA came later, through people.

If the team had not come together in Dubai, and if the long-standing relationship with Hossein, now CEO of Tiada, had not remained alive, ROSA might never have existed. Tiada became part of the ground from which ROSA emerged. What started as possibility became momentum through trust, sponsorship, and the willingness of a small group of people to build something meaningful from almost nothing.

Somewhere along the way, he met Maryam. She came from the cloud-native world — scaling startups, helping SMEs actually use AI instead of just talking about it. Her lens was different: make it fast, make it accessible, make it work for real businesses with real constraints. Shahryar's on-premise security obsession and Maryam's cloud agility? That wasn't a clash. That was the missing piece.

Maryam, now ROSA's CGO, also became an essential part of that journey. She first entered through Tiada as a marketing partner and began by supporting the lean early ROSA team through digital marketing work. Over time, that support became commitment. She helped shape ROSA's voice, character, and visibility, used her own platform and influence to attract attention and leads, and played a major role in turning Rosa.biz into a living marketing engine. Her contribution also extended beyond growth into direct full-stack involvement in product building.

What makes ROSA special is that it did not come from abundance. It came from serendipity, trust, hunger, and practical effort. In less than eight months, with a lean team and limited resources, ROSA became operational in the SME segment and began serving real customers.

ROSA is therefore not one person's story. It is a shared story of trust, timing, teamwork, sponsorship, and conviction. That is part of Ubuntu too.
